Currently, we are seeking a talented Backend Developer with WordPress & API Development Expertise to join our team on a full-time, remote basis.

We’re hiring a full-time Backend Developer to join Lunover, collaborating with our Swedish team. This role focuses on advanced WordPress backend development, API integrations, Laravel expertise, and modern backend practices. Ideal candidates are problem-solvers with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress plugins, themes, and APIs.
• Optimize WordPress database and ensure security best practices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Work with Laravel for backend development and MVC architecture.
• Handle caching (Redis, Memcached) and server performance optimization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Required Skills

• WordPress Development: PHP, hooks, filters, REST API, WP-CLI.
• Backend Technologies: Laravel, MySQL/MariaDB, Composer, MVC.
• API Expertise: RESTful APIs, Payload CMS, authentication (JWT).
• DevOps: Git, CI/CD, server monitoring, backup strategies.
• Bonus: Node.js, WooCommerce, cloud services (AWS/DigitalOcean).
