We are looking for a Web Content Writer who will be responsible for creating content on web pages, blogs/articles, press releases, whitepapers, case studies, and other forms of web content. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills to create the best content possible that attracts the target audience.
This person will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to maximize efforts and with our SEO team on strategic vision and resource allocation. To be successful, this candidate should be comfortable in ambiguity, enjoy problem-solving, have a POV, and a clear creative vision.
Job Responsibilities
- Produce well-researched high-quality content for online publication on multiple platforms in the form of web pages, blogs, press releases, e-books, whitepaper, case studies, email marketing, product descriptions, and videos utilizing industry best practices
- Establish clear writing schedules to finish content drafts or final products by the stated deadline as per business requirements to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Communicate, cooperate, and coordinate with the content team, on-page team, and off-page team as and when required to ensure smooth content management
- Establish and maintain consistent writing standards – style, fonts, tone, etc.
- Proofread content to avoid any errors or inconsistencies and ensure the quality of content
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) best practices in your writing to increase a website’s online visibility and position in search results.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, management, or a related field, along with an A-level (high school) degree, is an added advantage.
- More than 3 years of experience, showcasing a proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or in any other similar role
- Proficient in working across Google Docs, Google Sheets, or any other applications required for content management
- The ability to simultaneously work on many projects with various goals, objectives, and timelines
- Good time management abilities, such as the ability to set priorities, plan ahead, and change course as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and customers as and when required
