As a Training Officer at Cedar Gate Services, you will play a vital role in coordinating and ensuring the successful delivery of various training programs. Your responsibilities will include planning, creating, and delivering training sessions, developing technical training content, onboarding new employees, analyzing feedback, and supporting the overall training process.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan diverse training programs to address organizational needs.
  • Develop technical training content using the internal Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assess and enhance existing learning resources to support training initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding training sessions following the company’s onboarding policy.
  • Effectively communicate training program details to relevant stakeholders and maintain accurate training records.
  • Gather and analyze employee feedback from training programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Compile feedback details and present insights to the training manager or trainer.
  • Collaborate with the training manager to create technical training support materials.
  • Facilitate the setup and administration of online training courses.
  • Coordinate external training activities as required.
  • Manage the organizational aspects of training sessions, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Perform any additional tasks associated with organizing and executing training sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in Training and Development or a similar role.
  • Experience in designing technical course materials.
  • Familiarity with or a willingness to learn web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques.
  • Experience in organizing events like seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate within the team and engage with trainees.
  • High level of organization, efficiency, and attention to detail.
