We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional to join our team as an HR Generalist/HR Specialist. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the organization’s workforce is engaged, productive, and compliant with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify top talent.
- Conduct background checks and reference verifications for potential hires.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain positive employee relations through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Address disciplinary issues and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Performance Management:
- Support performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and conduct follow-up reviews.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
- HR Compliance:
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related legal requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Benefits and Compensation:
- Administer employee benefits programs and explain benefits to employees.
- Assist in compensation planning and salary benchmarking exercises.
- Coordinate open enrollment and other benefits-related activities.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate training initiatives and professional development programs.
- Identify and address skill gaps through targeted learning opportunities.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and career growth.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Prepare HR-related reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Monitor key HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
