Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead analysis for the purposes of developing test cases for websites, web applications, and infrastructure.
Perform hands-on manual testing while scripting automated tests to ensure application quality.
Assisting in the coordination of the response to incidents and outages across multiple teams and departments
Leading and coordinating the response to incidents and outages across multiple teams and departments
Conducting post-incident reviews and implementing changes to prevent future incidents

Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information systems or related field or equivalent experience

Experience Required: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Software Development industry and participating in team environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Demonstrated excellent communication skills
Dedicated worker skilled at collaborating in a multifaceted team setting
Ability to build automated test scripts, plan tests and strategies according to the project
Thorough and disciplined, ability to analyze a problem and weight severity of the issue
Proven excellent problem-solving and analytic skills
Familiarity with Agile workflow as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology.

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
Good knowledge of any programming language like JAVA, C#, Python or .Net
Experience in automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver.
Experience in testing web services such as RESTful API
Experience in performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter
Familiarity with monitoring tolls such as New relic, Cloud Watch
Familiarity with incident management tools like Pagerduty
Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts and formats such as XML and JSON with experience in testing non-GUI applications
Proficient understanding of code versioning tool and familiarity with Continuous Integration atmosphere
Knowledge of AWS services would be a strong plus point
