We are looking for an experienced Sr. Admission (Application Officer) to manage our admissions and application process. The successful candidate will provide leadership, and guidance to the admissions team, and oversees all aspects of the admissions process. They will work with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure that each prospective student receives the best possible support and service through the application and enrolment process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage admissions process, including application, documentation review and verification, eligibility determination, and enrollment.
- Oversee application completion and accuracy to ensure timely enrollment of prospective students. • Provide guidance and support to prospective students and applicants throughout the admissions process.
- Collaborate with college leadership and academic departments to ensure the timely processing of applications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admissions policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide analytical and statistical reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain communication channels with prospective students and their families, responding to all inquiries regarding the admissions process.
- Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to develop strategies and tactics to attract and promote enrollment.
- Improve the quality of the admissions process, documenting and implementing new processes and procedures as needed.
- Work with staff and faculty on admissions initiatives such as Open Houses, Recruitment Events, and other Admission functions.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field with an emphasis on Admission or Enrollment Operations required.
- Experience working in an Admission, Enrollment Services, or related academic setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of data analysis, database management, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate in a fast-paced environment.
