Senior WordPress Developer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex WordPress websites.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs.
• Ensure seamless integration of custom functionalities with existing WordPress installations.
• Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and efficient user experiences.
• Implement best practices for responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures for WordPress websites.
• Stay updated on security vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches and updates.
• Work with MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient database performance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize database queries as needed.
• Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior WordPress developers.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for WordPress projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Expertise in WordPress theming and plugin development.
• In-depth knowledge of the WordPress core and its functionalities.
• Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of WordPress security best practices.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and inspire a technical team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
