Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust PHP-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP codebase, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Conduct regular code reviews to provide feedback and ensure best practices.
• Design scalable and efficient software architecture for high-performance applications.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party libraries and APIs when necessary.
• Develop and optimize database interactions, including complex queries and data manipulations.
• Ensure data integrity and efficient database performance.
• Implement and maintain unit tests and participate in the quality assurance process.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Collaborate with other teams such as product management and UI/UX for seamless project delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, architecture, and development processes.
• Stay updated on PHP frameworks, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Implement best practices for code efficiency, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on PHP development.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful PHP projects.
• Expertise in PHP programming language.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with PHP testing frameworks like PHPUnit.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
