Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

1) Sales Planning & Strategy:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed Parts and Lube sales targets and revenue goals
Plan, monitor and achieve individual Parts & Lube sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned region
2) Plan for monthly visits, activities, schemes, for achievement of targets:

Prepare the monthly plan, visit based on visit analysis sheet and prospects identified
Ensure all the locations visit on each monthly basis
Regular monitoring of tie up and their performance
To visit existing customers/Dealers for relationship build up and additional/referral sales
Meet the Parts/Lube Target through assigned region as per standard
3) Daily Review of activities of the subordinates and customers:

To review on the visits, inquiries and its quality on daily basis with the team and guide them if necessary
To also review collection & sales are in line of the monthly plan
In case of deviations in any of the targets, take corrective actions
Ensure that activities planned is being conducted on time and to the desired results
To ensure that maximum potential shared by the marketing is being visited
Ensuring that dealer performance are met as per the sales planning
Monitoring that dealer are not misusing/deviating funds
4) Collection and regular update of database of potential Clients:

Prepare databases to bring customers from new market segments like local workshops, retailers, mechanics, etc.
Segregation of prospects from database.
Follow-up with the prospects on regular basis and bring them in our fold
5) Develop PR and regular strategy for Fleet Customer

To make a list of key customers/key projects of the area with their contact address and devise a monthly plan for direct interaction
To make individual strategies and to bring them in our fold
To assure at least ten such projects or key customers are visited by them every month.
6) Ensure the timely Collection of payment:

To ensure all required formalities to be fulfilled for payment collection.
To ensure payment is collected in time by maintaining a payment log book for all outstanding payments and track the collection report from SOs
To keep proper record of TDS & retention and follow up in time to get released in time.
7) Ensure motivation, skills and discipline of subordinates:

To identify improvement areas & required training need of the subordinates and accordingly ensure the capability development programs.
To ensure subordinates to be in discipline. In case of any observed discrepancies in discipline, coordinate with HRD for disciplinary action.
To provide inputs for incentives for subordinates.

Other Specification

Qualifications & Requirements :

 

  1. Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in business or related field, along with several years of sales and sales management experience.
  2. Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques, as well as knowledge of the industry and market.
  3. Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead and manage a sales team, develop strategic plans, and motivate team members.
  4. Communication and Presentation: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deliver persuasive presentations.
  5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, problem-solving, and making informed decisions.
