As the Regional Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and achieve market share objectives in the assigned region. You will oversee and optimize the sales function, ensuring a strong return on investment and fostering efficient and high-performing sales and customer service teams. Analyzing business data and market metrics will be crucial to track and measure the success of commercial activities, while retaining existing customers and transforming risks into opportunities to secure business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales and Marketing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans for the region, aligning them with the company’s overall objectives.
- Competitive Landscape Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the competitive landscape within the region. Formulate strategies to gain a competitive edge and achieve growth targets.
- ROI Management: Monitor and optimize the return on investment of the sales function in the region by efficiently allocating resources and tracking performance metrics.
- Team Collaboration and Training: Coordinate and collaborate with diverse sales and customer service teams, providing leadership and training to enhance their efficiency and productivity.
- KPI Tracking and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region’s commercial activities and ensure that they are met. Regularly analyze and report on these metrics.
- Customer Retention: Review existing products, services, and markets to ensure customer retention and satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships.
- Risk Assessment and Opportunity Conversion: Identify potential risks to the business within the region and develop plans to convert them into growth opportunities.
- Business Data Analysis: Collect, collate, and analyze business data related to sales and marketing activities, drawing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Other Specifications:
- Education: A Master’s Degree in Business (MBA) will be advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Sales/Marketing or managing key client relationships.
- Track Record: Demonstrated track record of achieving annual objectives and targets.
