As a Quality Assurance Engineer at SoftNEP, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our dedication to delivering software solutions of the highest quality.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to gain a deep understanding of project requirements and design effective testing strategies.
• Testing: Execute both manual and automated tests to identify and report defects, ensuring the robust functionality and high-performance standards of our software.
• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and accuracy to raise the bar for software quality.
• Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, collaborating with teams to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
• QA Standards: Contribute to the enhancement of our QA processes and standards, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any IT-related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful software testing and defect identification.
• Methodologies: Solid understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and best practices.
• Tools: Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, both manual and automated. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Version Control: Good knowledge of Git version control system.
• Technologies: Working knowledge of Laravel and React.
• Database: Solid knowledge of SQL queries (MySQL).
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
