Quality Analyst

As a Quality Analyst at UBA Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities will span across the testing lifecycle, from requirement analysis to test execution, to guarantee the reliability and performance of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
• Develop detailed test cases based on project specifications, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Execute test cases to identify software defects, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the product.
• Conduct regression testing to validate that new features or enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts to streamline repetitive testing tasks and improve efficiency.
• Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure the scalability and responsiveness of applications under varying conditions.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure testing aligns with user expectations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of testing methodologies.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar testing role.
• Proficient in various testing techniques, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and the ability to effectively communicate with development teams for issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and articulate software defects.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey testing outcomes.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and timelines.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure thorough test coverage and accurate defect documentation.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, testing methodologies, and tools.
