QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with team members to develop and implement successful testing strategies and test plans.
• Grasp the business logic behind existing projects and communicate it clearly to team members.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate all testing activities.
• Create well-structured, comprehensive, clear, and concise test plans and test cases.
• Develop, implement, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Document and maintain manual/automated test scripts, test cases, test data, defect tracking, and reports.
• Conduct thorough regression testing, utilizing both automated and manual methods, when resolving bugs.

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Testing and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Utilize project management and bug tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test documents, including Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Closure Reports.
• Have hands-on experience and proficiency in API testing and SQL.
• Possess knowledge and experience in Automation Testing.
• Be well-versed in the processes of an agile development environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in manual testing.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a computer-related field.
