We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Province Business Manager to join our team in the Commercial Department, specifically the National Sales section. As a Province Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing growth strategies in Province 5 while collaborating with stakeholders at the Centre (HQ) and other regions to achieve monthly and yearly business targets. You will play a crucial role in managing customer expectations in coordination with Technology and Customer Experience teams in the region. Your performance will be measured against key Sales & Distribution (S&D) KPIs, Channel Management, Stock Availability, Sales training, Product Awareness & Promotions, Sales & Marketing activities, and overall customer base health in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Implement Growth Strategies: Analyze consumer behavior, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and business requirements to devise and implement effective growth strategies for the assigned region.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams at HQ and other regions to devise and implement actions that align with business targets and objectives.
- Manage S&D KPIs and Channel Performance: Oversee Sales & Distribution network and performance in the region, ensuring effective stock availability, sales training, and channel management.
- Analyze Business Trends: Monitor and analyze key business trends at both macro and micro levels to gain insights and take appropriate actions for business growth.
- Conduct Meetings and Forums: Lead discussions and forums with regional and central teams to review business performance and develop action plans.
- Market and Competition Insights: Develop mechanisms to capture market and competition insights and establish effective reporting mechanisms to stakeholders, leveraging insights to formulate timely actions.
- Implement Region-Specific Initiatives: Create and implement initiatives that foster collaboration and ownership in the region.
- Consumer and Retailer Insights: Capture and understand consumer and retailer insights, prepare strategies in coordination with HQ, and execute them to achieve business objectives.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, OR master’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in team management and effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong experience in analyzing business trends and consumer behaviors in the assigned region to develop strategies aligning with business objectives.
- Proven track record in developing Sales and Distribution networks and managing Distributors, Channel partners, etc.
- Understanding of Financials and reporting systems & practices aligned with business requirements.
- Knowledge of Operations and Maintenance (Technology perspective) in any telco will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Customer Experience processes will be an added advantage.
