The Outbound Tour Officer plays a pivotal role in the travel and tourism industry, responsible for crafting enticing travel itineraries, offering cost-effective packages, and delivering exceptional customer service.  Responsibilities:

  • Create well-structured travel itineraries and tour packages tailored to individual and corporate client preferences.
  • Develop innovative tour packages that align with market trends and customer demands.
  • Ensure that itineraries encompass diverse attractions, activities, and accommodations, offering a comprehensive and enjoyable travel experience.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost breakdowns for proposed travel packages.
  • Create persuasive and visually appealing proposals that highlight the unique aspects of each tour package.
  • Present proposals to clients, addressing their questions and concerns while demonstrating the value of the offerings.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media platforms, offering expert advice and solutions.
  • Provide quotes for travel-related services, taking into account individual preferences and budget constraints.
  • Engage with both individual and corporate clients, cultivating relationships and nurturing a positive customer experience.
  • Assist clients in making reservations for travel services, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
  • Ensure accurate booking details and follow up to confirm reservations and any changes
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to follow up on inquiries, provide additional information, and encourage bookings.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner during follow-up interactions, addressing any concerns or doubts effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in outbound tour planning, customer service, or sales within the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong proficiency in using email, phone, and social media for customer engagement.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in travel-related software and booking platforms.
  • Adept at building rapport and fostering customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
  • Passion for travel and deep knowledge of various destinations and travel trends.
