We are looking for a results-driven and experienced National Sales Manager (NSM) to oversee and lead our Veterinary Items sales team. The NSM will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving revenue targets in the veterinary items market segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for veterinary items, aligning with company goals and market trends.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, including territory managers and sales representatives, to achieve individual and team targets.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and threats. Use this information to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
- Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget for the veterinary items segment, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control.
- Sales Training: Provide training and support to the sales team, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to excel in their roles.
- Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and sales targets, track performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key veterinary industry stakeholders, including veterinarians, clinics, hospitals, and distributors.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate the value of our veterinary items to customers.
- Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
