The Network Administrator II is a key role responsible for the development, design, planning, and construction of robust networks, as well as seamless integration with client networks. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to communicate engineering design plans, supporting the deployment of network plans, upgrades, and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments, including the handling of multiple vendor firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and others.
- Provide hands-on experience and troubleshooting for Cisco ACI environments, SD-WAN technologies, SSL VPN, Firewall, and Network Switches.
- Monitor system performance, analyze workload, and address traffic and utilization trends.
- Ensure network security by monitoring and reporting on security logs from firewalls and IPS/IDS systems, promptly addressing issues as they arise.
- Participate in multiple network projects, maintaining operational excellence for all networks and designing integration solutions between internal and client networks.
- Research, test, evaluate, and recommend telecommunications and data network systems, seeking continual performance improvements in a highly secure environment.

Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of IP protocols, OSPF, BGP, Cisco, Juniper SD-WAN and SDN, fiber and copper infrastructure, optical data networking, and other relevant concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, PaloAlto Global Protect VPNs, F5 Load Balancers, and datacenter switching (Cisco Nexus 9300 series).
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations, work independently and as part of a team, and provide on-call support for critical production issues.

Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent in a relevant stream.
- 4 to 5+ years of Network Engineering experience or related field.
- CCNA, CCNP certification preferred.
