The Nepal Data Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all data-related operations for a company or organization in Nepal. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures
- Manage the collection, storage, and analysis of data from various sources
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security
- Identify areas for data quality improvement and implement solutions
- Create data visualizations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate data insights into decision-making processes
- Train and supervise staff on data management best practices and protocols
- Manage relationships with third-party data vendors and contractors
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data management and analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, or data management
- 3+ years of experience in data management or related field – Strong knowledge of SQL, database management, and data analysis software
- Experience with data quality control and data visualization tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the Nepali business environment and regulations is a plus.
Salary:
The salary range for this position varies depending on experience and qualifications but might average between NPR 50,000 to NPR 100,000 per month.
