We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager (NSM) to oversee our Poultry Feed division. The NSM – Poultry Feed will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, manage a team of sales professionals, and build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of the poultry feed industry and a proven track record of sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals for the Poultry Feed division.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and supply chain, to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management regularly.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.
- Monitor and manage the sales budget, expenses, and resources effectively.
- Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales leadership, particularly in the poultry feed or agricultural industry.
- Strong understanding of poultry feed products, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and develop strategic plans.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
