Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support application requirements.
Create and maintain database schemas, tables, and relationships based on application needs.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, and database tuning.
Implement and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Implement and enforce database security policies, including user roles, permissions, and encryption.
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate databases with applications and systems.
Create and maintain documentation for database designs, processes, and configurations.

Qualifications:

X years of professional experience as an MS-SQL Developer or a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server development and administration.
Strong T-SQL programming skills.
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Experience with ETL processes and tools.
Proficient in database design and data modeling.
Understanding of database security principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to database design and performance.
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
