We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Officer to oversee and manage marketing and sales activities for our company’s products in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with vendors, analyzing market data, and developing marketing strategies to drive regional sales performance. This position is based in Kathmandu Valley.

Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate marketing and sales activities effectively.
  2. Market Analysis: Collect and analyze market data, including customer needs and current trends. Generate detailed reports and forecasts on market conditions and potential opportunities.
  3. Regional Sales Performance: Take ownership of regional sales performance and work towards achieving set targets.
  4. Competitive Analysis: Monitor and stay updated on competitive activities within major accounts to devise effective marketing strategies.
  5. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients showcasing the success and credibility of the business and its products.
  6. Marketing Strategies: Develop and communicate marketing and sales strategies for approval by management.
  7. Promotional Campaigns: Implement various promotional campaigns as directed by management to drive product visibility and sales.
  8. Pressure Handling: Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Payment Follow-up: Ensure timely follow-up on payments within specified credit periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Preferred experience in the FMCG industry with a proven track record of successful marketing and sales activities.
  2. Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of generating market reports using pivot tables and other tools.
  3. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Commerce, or a relevant field.
  4. Negotiation and Presentation Skills: Demonstrated ability in negotiation, presentation, and closing deals.
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
  6. Results-Driven: Possess a sales-driven, results-driven, and target-driven attitude.
  7. Organization and Planning: Strong organizational and planning skills to manage marketing activities efficiently.
  8. Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Ability to make data-driven decisions and analyze market trends.
  9. Driving License: Preferred possession of a two-wheeler driving license and access to a vehicle of their own.
