DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of applications.
• Ensure efficient and reliable release processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
• Implement automation scripts using scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Utilize orchestration tools like Kubernetes to automate container deployment and scaling
• Implement monitoring solutions to track system and application performance.
• Set up logging infrastructure for analyzing system and application logs.
• Implement security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to facilitate seamless integration of development and deployment processes.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Optimize and fine-tune infrastructure components for performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor resource utilization and make recommendations for improvements.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues promptly.
• Implement preventive measures to minimize the recurrence of incidents.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of X years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, etc.).
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or other relevant languages.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Experience in setting up and managing logging infrastructure.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and implementation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience in optimizing and fine-tuning infrastructure components.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management.
• Ability to participate in incident response and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement preventive measures to improve system reliability.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
