Cloud Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Provide expertise in one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Work closely with development teams to implement and deploy cloud solutions, utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure costs by analyzing usage patterns and recommending cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with overall architecture.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of X years of professional experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Proven experience in designing scalable and secure cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to analyze cloud usage and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Technical leadership experience, guiding teams towards best practices.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
