Barista

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that every customer enjoys a memorable experience at our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following established recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee machines, brewing equipment, and the serving area.
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, take their orders, and provide product recommendations when necessary.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment with precision and consistency.
• Ensure that all beverages are prepared to the specified standards in terms of flavor, temperature, and presentation.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide accurate change to customers.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines to guarantee the safety and health of customers and staff.
• Restock and maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Engage with customers in a polite and professional manner, answering their questions and addressing any concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development to stay updated on coffee trends and improve your barista skills.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods.
• Assist with cleaning duties and closing procedures to ensure the coffee shop is ready for the next day of operation.
• Provide assistance in creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere within the coffee shop to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of various coffee brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
