As an Application Support Analyst specializing in MSSQL, you will be a key member of our support team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of applications relying on Microsoft SQL Server. Your role will involve troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving database-related issues, as well as providing support to end-users and collaborating with development teams to enhance system functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor MSSQL databases to ensure performance, availability, and security.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and optimization.
- Investigate and resolve application issues related to MSSQL databases promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex problems and implement effective solutions.
- Provide timely and effective support to end-users experiencing database-related issues.
- Offer guidance on database-related queries and assist in data retrieval.
- Conduct performance analysis and implement tuning strategies to enhance database efficiency.
- Optimize SQL queries and recommend improvements to application developers.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, issues, and resolutions.

Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
