We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team. The Account Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for precision in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general accounts.
  • Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any related issues promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide financial information and support for decision-making.
  • Assist in the audit process by preparing relevant documents and records.
  • Perform routine financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and handle sensitive data with discretion.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting software, and relevant financial regulations.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial roles is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
